About Moonlight Floreciendo
My name is Courtney Rae Gonzales. My place of birth is Napa, California. My maternal lineages are primarily from Ireland, Scotland, and England, my mom born in San Francisco, California. My paternal lineages are primarily from Northern Mexico, the states of Sinaloa, Durango, Chihuahua, and Coahuila, my dad born in Redlands, California. I have a Sagittarius Rising, Leo Sun, Cancer Moon, and Taurus Ceres.
I care deeply about the ways in which personal and community health can center the cycles, wisdom, and creativity of Mother Earth, the Cosmos, and our human bodies. Moonlight Floreciendo was birthed to be a space to share resources for deepening connections with intuition and spiritual gifts through relations with self, ancestors, lands, cosmos.

ASTROLOGICAL MEDICINE
After listening to different astrology podcasts for a few years, in 2019, the Moon and Jupiter pulled me into deeper astrology study. My study started with following the lunations through my birth chart and has grown from there. My dreams, intuition, and heart have guided and grounded my practice.
I started a formal study with Austin Coppock's Fundamentals of Astrology program in Summer 2025 to hone my technical and magical skills.
EARTH MEDICINE
I studied herbal medicine at Ancestral Apothecary in Oakland, California from 2018 - 2022. The focus was folk remedies, ancestral healing and veneration, personal apothecary building, cultivating respectful and reciprocal relationships with mama earth and ancestors.
From 2019 - 2025, I farmed with Sol Root Farm. Tending the land has been the most transformation experiences of my life: a deep intimacy with mama earth's plantitas and the cycles of the seasons.
From seed to remedy is a dream I carry and share.

I believe sharing stories is a powerful and important way of understanding what it means to be a human on Earth and how we can create a more loving and beautiful world.
I write about my paths to share examples of how I've deepened my connection to self, ancestors, lands, and cosmos, with intentions that it support others on their paths.
